Phase 1: Project Initiation - The Consultation

Our consultation fee is due at our first in person visit. This fee acts as a deposit and officially begins our working relationship, allowing us to dedicate time, expertise, and strategy to your project right away.

Phase 2: Design

After the CONSULTATION our team has an understanding of the size of the project. We will create a Scope of Work Contract, detailing the work we intend to do and the cost of those services. Once that contract is signed and a deposit is received. We will start STEP 2. It takes approximately 6-12 weeks depending on size of job to get an ititial concept together.

Phase 3: Project Implementation

It all comes together here! Our team implements the design and decor concept selected. We manage all aspects of the project including ordering, working with any necessary trades, and installations to deliver a turnkey experience.

Parts 4 + 5 … The First Home I Loved… Takes us to the Heart of What I Do

During the workshop, they asked:
“What was the first home you loved?” I thought for a while… and then…

I thought of my Grandma Hoover’s house….

It wasn’t magazine-worthy. It wasn’t professionally designed. It was outdated, a little mismatched.
But it was full of love…
 It was where I felt heard, welcomed, and able to be myself.
 It was laughter with cousins and afternoons exploring bookshelves.
 It was joy — not décor — that made it home.

And that memory shapes everything I do today.

Yes — I love beautiful spaces. But that’s not my core.

I design homes to support the lives lived inside them.

The friendships. The slow mornings. The holiday dinners. The late-night conversations. The everyday moments that become the real memories.

Beauty is the byproduct.
 The purpose is connection.

Part 3 — What Home Means…

To me, home is:
Safety. Warmth. Sanctuary.
 Where we rest, gather, recharge, and create the memories that shape us.

Home is the canvas our life is painted on.

It’s not just walls and finishes — it’s where your life happens.

Design has always been in me.

As a kid, I sat on the floor of my mom’s office flipping through Country Living magazines — but I didn’t care about the pretty pictures.

I was obsessed with the house plans.

I’d study how rooms connected… and imagine myself living in those spaces. Picking pieces from one and blending them with another. I didn’t realize that not everyone thinks in floor plans.

So to sum up: I’ve always been drawn to the idea of home — not just how it looks, but how it feels. ✨

Own Your Narrative.
 One of the workshops I attended at High Point Market asked a question that stopped me in my tracks:

“Why do you do what you do?”
 Not the surface answer. The real answer. The one that lives underneath everything.

I didn’t have it in the moment — I needed time and quiet.
 So I’ve been thinking. Writing. Reflecting.

And I’m ready to share.
 This is my North Star.

Happy Birthday to our dear sweet Anni .. our middle child full of spunk and so much personality. 💕 We love you so much! You are so good with people and animals, you love to read more than anyone I know and your amazing math skills are fun to watch. I can’t wait to see what you become, you’re so smart and quick. She turns 15 this year and is in 9th grade. 💕

Sometimes drawing renderings makes me feel like I’m playing a video game, I’m in an alternate reality of sorts, where everything is perfect… the line between work and play gets a little blurry when it’s time for rendering drawings to be done 😬💕

A weekend away from it all… we were so unplugged we barely have photos from the weekend😂… 💕family time… upstate PA🍁

Highlights from a very busy week of productivity 💕

We had so many compliments on this railing… I agree, it turned out amazing! And I’m so thankful for @daniellandis5 who goes above and beyond every time I say I have a crazy idea, I couldn’t have done the railing without him! And he put that molding up for me on the wall, was is necessary? No. But it was 💯 worth it!

I’ve been spending so much time in the studio drawing this week, so here is a sneak peak I don’t mind sharing … 😘

I read an email that asked “what was the first thing you ever sold?” Thanks for the prompt @jasminestar !

I took a moment to ponder this… when did I start selling? I’ve always kind of argued that being a designer does have a slight shadow of being in sales.. we do in a sense sell our ideas… but when did this start? What was the first thing I ever sold?

Instantly I recalled how just a few weeks ago someone commented to me that I am a peacemaker… I’ve been one out of necessity for as long as I can remember… and it all clicked…

I do believe the first thing I have ever sold is Peace. And I will argue that to this day, I still sell it. I’ve been selling peace, my entire life.

How does this all tie together? Well my argument is that a salesperson, a designer, and a peacemaker may seem like different roles, but they all share the same core mission: understanding people, solving problems creatively, and influencing outcomes with empathy and vision.

So in short: 🌿 Design is more than just making things beautiful.
It’s about creating spaces that feel safe, calm, and connected.

As a natural peacemaker, I don’t just design — I listen. I help couples with different tastes find common ground, guide overwhelmed clients through the chaos, and bring harmony to every detail.

Your home should feel like peace — and that’s what I’m here to create. 🕊️✨

Brought in some fresh blooms for photo shoot day 💐

Emma turns Sweet 16 💕started the day with jack making her a birthday omelette, then off to get her driving permit.. and ended the day with the best meal at @salute_ristorante they treated her amazingly 💕 such a fabulous day for our girl 💕

I love design challenges and this definitely was one. I drew and redrew this one so much… we had so much to fit in this tiny space. Cabinets as always by @oldemillkitchens

As we wrap up final touches the urge to begin the staging process is so strong, had to bring in a few items just for fun, I think everyone is excited to start decorating and staging this house!! 💕 it’s really come a long way! 💕
